How Can A Turkish Citizen Of Northern Cyprus Get A Cypriot Id?
I live on the greek side and my friend is living on the Turkish side. Both his parents were born in Turkey but he was born in Cyprus… But they class him as full Turkish and not Turkish Cypriot therefore cant pass the border to the greek side..
Is there any way he can get a Cypiot ID since he was born in Cyprus, or any other way he can pass by the border?

if you are a girl, leave the burqa, and give your *** to the Greek-Cypriot polices
you will be free in Cyprus then
The question you are asking is politically sensitive to say the least. But I will try to provide you with an answer without becoming embroiled in a political argument that will take years to resolve.
As I know the situation the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, due to its unrecognized status internationally, is dependent upon Turkey to facilitate its contacts with the international community. Northern Cyprus is a self-proclaimed entity, its relations with the rest of the world further complicated by a series of United Nations resolutions which have declared it legally invalid and consider the territory under its control part of the Republic of Cyprus. If that is the case, something I am not sure of or fully know, then persons born of Turkish nationals are entitled to citizenship of Turkey and to receive a Turkish passport.
As a Northern Cyprus passport is not recognized by most national governments (much like the republic itself), naturalized citizens have to resort to other nations’ passports in order to travel internationally. (Many countries such as Britain, the U.S, Pakistan etc do accept a Northern Cyprus passport). Really many Turkish Cypriots who are born in Cyprus with parents who can trace their Cypriot and legal residence before the partition (1983) applied for and received a Cypriot passport from the recognized Republic of Cyprus, something that cannot happen in the present climate.
Quite honestly I do not reckon your problem can be resolved by any of us here.
