We had to send this TV back as the scart and power leads kept dislodging slightly cutting off SKY and power. The weight of the cables seemed to be too heavy for the sockets on the back of the TV. The replacement is exactly the same so have had to tape them up to stop this happening. Picture quality is excellent. No power button – all done through remote control. Still trying to get our SKy remote to work with volume etc. Codes don’t seem to work. Sound does appear to be tinny at first but you get used to it.

The Samsung P2270HD Monitor and TV is a excellent model and an brilliant

picture, although the sound quality from 3w speakers is a small

tinny, but would be ok in a small room. Set up is quite simple and it

has its own tuner for Freeview. But as I have Freesat I had to buy

another freesat box. Generally quite a excellent buy for the price.

Product arrived today. I have not checked it out as yet. This supplier has given me a first class service. He has gone that extra mile to ensure that my TV was delivered timeously. He has contacted Samsung to confirm that I have a three year on site guarantee with this TV.

A highly recommended seller. Buy with confidence~~~~~Maureen

I set one of these up as a TV for a client of mine bought by his Dad for the clients Birthday in August. I was extremely impressed with the simple set up and the quality of the picture in both analogue and freeview.

Needing a new TV for my bedroom and after a lot of surfing and reading the few reviews I could find (mainly on QVC) I could not find a better TV. Plus being a monitor it is covered by a Samsung Warranty for 3 years.

At £240 it was also way cheaper than my clients Dad had paid. I set my TV up with a Toshiba RD88 DVD HDD Recorder connected by a HDMI cable the results are stunning, both the DVD playback of prerecorded discs and HDD recordings from the Toshiba’s inbuilt freeview are fantastic, although this was on the best setting. I have yet to record a DVD or dub a disc from the HDD so cannot comment on this. I have not tried using the unit as a monitor either.

I would say this unit is well worth considering and feel it is money well spent.
