What Are My Tv Aerial Wires Supposed To Look Like To Get The Best Digital Signal?
I just bought a TV with built in freeview. Originally I got no signal at all but after looking at the aerial cables I found one thick copper wire and a bundle of smaller wires. Putting them together (with the bundle around the base) I picked up Channel 5 on Digital but nothing on analogue. Separating the wires I’ve picked up nothing on digital but all 5 channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and 5).

WHAT KIND of aerial setup is THAT ?!!
I never even heard or seen that type of setup !
Most aerials have a plastic base with ONE single wire that attaches to your Television and a GRID to capture the magnetic signal….
Kinda like these…..http://www.freeview-home.co.uk/004-Aeria…
