when i unplug my sony lcd tv off it sometimes wont start up whats wrong?

i have a 50 in lcd tv thats about 3 years ancient and when i go my tv around i turn it off wait till it shuts down and then unplug it from wall and when i go to plug it in my tv wont start back up… some times it takes a day or so to really turn on does anyone know whats incorrect with my tv.. this is like the 4th time its happen any help would be fantastic?

    Any error codes flashing after you turn it ON?

    Could be a power supply problem.
