Mortgages are worked out per bank/building society in line with the persons salaries. They have to have been in employment for a certain period of time with the same company and take out insurance. The insurance companies should pay the persons mortgage should that person lose their job. I have heard thousands of tales from people who were given the run around by the mortgage and loan insurance companies who attempted to get out of paying up. When they did pay up they made the people jump through hoops. Insurance companies are less than responsible knowing that they are hard to complain about. Even banks have difficulty complaining about insurance companies. A lot of the people I spoke to had also gone through Independant Financial Advisors.
At the end of the day it isn’t lending policies which brought this crisis about. When people lose their job they look for another, in the interim they should feel confident the insurance will kick in until they find another job or two. If not, then why do insurance companies exist and if not they are really giving fake information to millions of people. And taking their money under fake pretences. Only the other day another case of a man in a car accident and the insurance company have pulled a quick one in an attempt to get out of paying up. Nobody seems to be able to take on the insurance companies, who’s CEO’s take huge commissions.

Why because he has no thought of what your life is like and he is taking your country farther and farther from the America you dream of where there is plenty of food and places to stay and you don’t have to steal napkins from McDonalds so you can wipe your butt… You just wouldn’t know we live in two different Americas. I despise republicans because they are selfish and won’t share their wealth. You despise us because you reckon we are bone idle and stupid. The farther you take your world from mine the closer we come to having problems.
I don’t work because I am not allowed to.
If I could work it would be hard to find a job I could stomach.
I could make bread and give it away. But if it required me to profit from someone I could not do it. I can not rob and steal like you. That is why you have money and I don’t… You are a heartless, evil republican and I will never get you to know how horrible you are.
You like to see others suffer. You want it all for you. How sick…

The majority of reporters vote democratically. A study in the last decade found that 90% identify more with liberal issues.
A person may believe that they are reporting unbiased fact, but the truth is that we are all influenced by our own perspective. A person that considers a glas half full is no more incorrect than a person that considers it half empty- and no more capable of changing their perspective.

Don’t worry… there is enough blame to go around. BOTH parties had plenty to do with the mess. The problems with the mortgage industry played a significant role, but it is NOT the only factor.
To answer your original question: that depends on wether you consider Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Lou Dobbs part of the Mainstream media.
Also, urban residents tend to lean to the left while rural residents tend to lean to the right. That is why large media markets skew their coverage to the left. Don’t forget that the name of the game is ratings, not fairness.
